Presidential Scholarships » These scholarships are awarded to entering students and are valued at full tuition at the time of enrollment ($31,510 for 2007-2008). The amount will stay constant in subsequent years. Selection is based on a student's demonstrated outstanding achievement in competitive secondary school programs. Renewal requires a cumulative GPA of 3.5 (out of 4.0) at the end of the sophomore year, and for each year thereafter. Average scores of Presidential Scholars:  SAT 2180; ACT 33).

No special application for scholarships is required.  All applicants for admission are considered for merit scholarships.

Faculty Scholarships » These scholarships are valued at half-tuition at the time of enrollment ($15,755 for 2007=2008). This award will stay constant for four years. Renewal requires a cumulative GPA of 3.35 (out of 4.0) at the end of the sophomore year, and for each year thereafter. Average scores of Faculty Scholars:  SAT of 1920;  ACT of 30.

A full tuition scholarship ($31,510 for 2007-2008) awarded to a first year woman, in recognition of outstanding academic achievement and demonstrated leadership.  The value remains fixed for up to three subsequent and consecutive years of full-time enrollment.  Renewal required a 3.5 cumulative grade point average to be attained by the end of the sophomore year and maintained thereafter. 

Diversity awards are made to first year students in recognition of the importance of geographic, economic, and cultural diversity in our student body.  The amount of the award ranges from $3,000 to $19,000 per year and remains fixed for up to three subsequent and consecutive years of full-time enrollment.  The Diversity Award requires a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 by the end of the sophomore year and maintained thereafter.
