| Description |
Are you looking for something exciting and challenging to do this summer? Maybe you should consider the Elmhurst College Summer Academy in Mathematics and Science. The Academy (held traditionally in July) is an exceptional two-week residential program for high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors who want to expand their horizons and explore math and science topics with college professors at one of the best colleges in the Midwest. For two weeks, you will stay on Elmhurst College's gorgeous campus, while taking classes and seminars to sharpen your math skills, explore important topics in science, and master a variety of computer programs. There is no deadline or fee to apply, but space is limited and decisions will be made on a rolling basis, so don't wait. In addition to your application, you will need to contact your high school counselor to request a copy of your official transcripts and you will need a recommendation from your math or science instructor. If accepted into the program, a $200 registration fee covers the cost of all your classes, meals, and on-campus housing, and grants you access to all Elmhurst College facilities for the two week program. College credit for the program is also available at an additional expense. |
